Product Introduction
YGC-TM Soil Multi in One Sensor is a comprehensive soil sensor that can simultaneously measure four parameters: soil temperature, soil moisture, conductivity, and salinity, greatly facilitating customer system evaluation of soil conditions.
The soil moisture is measured using frequency domain reflection method (defined in GB/T28418-2012), which is based on the principle of the difference between water and other dielectric constants in the soil, and uses frequency domain reflection testing technology to measure soil moisture content. It has the characteristics of fast, accurate, stable and reliable, and is not affected by fertilizers and metal ions in the soil.
High precision thermistor is used as the sensing component for soil temperature, which has the characteristics of high temperature measurement accuracy and good stability.
The signal transmitter adopts advanced circuit integration modules, which can convert soil temperature and moisture into corresponding voltage or current signals according to different user needs.
The sensor is compact in size, easy to install, and reliable in performance; Using proprietary circuits, with good linearity, strong load capacity, long transmission distance, and strong anti-interference ability.
Application areas: Widely applicable in scientific experiments, water-saving irrigation, greenhouses, flowers and vegetables, grasslands and pastures, soil rapid testing, plant cultivation and other fields.

Installation Instructions
Dig a pit according to the depth of the soil layer that needs to be measured, then lay the sensor flat (with the probe placed horizontally) and place it in the pit. Fill the probe part with fine soil, compact it by hand, and then backfill it;
Precautions
1、Please check if the packaging is intact and verify if the product model matches the selected one;
2、Do not connect live wires. Only after the wiring is checked and confirmed to be correct, can the power be turned on;
3、The length of the sensor wire will affect the output signal of the product. Do not modify the product arbitrarily during use. If there is a need for modification, please contact the manufacturer;
4、Sensors are precision components. Users are advised not to disassemble them by themselves, use sharp objects or corrosive liquids to contact the sensor surface, in order to avoid damaging the product;
5、When measuring frozen soil layers, the moisture value may be too low and inaccurate, and users need to compensate. This product is suitable for measuring ordinary loess, black soil, and red soil. Not suitable for absolute moisture measurement of saline alkali land, sandy land, or other powdery objects with high salt content.
6、The soil moisture calculated by this sensor is the soil volumetric moisture content (also known as soil volumetric moisture content), which is commonly referred to as "soil moisture" or "soil moisture". The calculation method for soil volumetric moisture content is the ratio of the volume of water in the soil to the volume of the soil. 0% represents completely dry soil without any moisture, while 60% represents 60 volumes of water in 100 volumes of soil. Due to the limited ability of soil to absorb water, it is impossible to have a 100% volumetric moisture content.
